Out Mouse by Valerie L. Egar, is a thoroughly charming tale about two mice who have set up shop in Finn’s home.

The narrator (Paul Collins) has a lyrical Irish accent that gave depth of feeling to Finn’s exasperation when trying to dissuade Mr and Mrs Mouse to leave.

Who knew that the best way to get pests to vacate a home was to write them a personal letter with recommendations of alternative abodes? Or that mice were literate!

I’ve already said too much.

It’s a short fun read that I will delight in reading again.

My thanks to NetGalley, author and publisher for a copy of this book in return for a candid review
