I enjoyed reading Mastering Small Business Employee Engagement it was crammed with useful insights, anecdotes and information gleaned from the authors’ SME.

It would be of interest to a variety of organisations ranging from a new start-up or established business with little to no or ineffectual formal policies or procedures.  Nor is the advice limited to region because on the whole, it’s business commonsense, not Northern Ireland specific. Indeed it is applicable to any manager or employee who takes a greater interest in strategic matters or wants to know why the latest initiative is being implemented in the office.

Not much new information here for me personally (apart from the books referenced) but beneficial nevertheless.   The accessible way it was written and the enclosed forms and lists in the appendices make it a worthwhile read and one that I will be referring to shortly when reviewing employee forms.

My thanks to Troubador Publishing Limited and NetGalley for an ARC in return for a candid review.
